What are they looking for?

Kuantan Port Consortium would like to invite interested candidates to take the position of:

1. Marine Pilot

Qualification Requirements:

• Aged 24 years old and above.
• 2nd Mate Foreign Going Ship.
• At least 12 months seatime working experience as Watch Keeping Officer (WKO) on Foreign GoingVassel And Tanker.
• Must be medically fit for sea-going duties.
• Computer literate.
• All applicants must posses valid STCW 95 Certificates.

2. Engine Driver Officer

Qualification Requirements:

• Aged 22 years old and above.
• Chief Engineer Officer or 2nd Engineer Officer between 750 KW – 3000 KW Near Coastal / WKE > 750 KW Near Coastal.
• At least 1 year working experience as 2nd Engineer Officer or Chief Engineer Officer( WKE).
• Must be medically fit for sea-going duties.
• Computer literate.
• All applicants must posses valid STCW 95 Certificates.

3. Electrical Engineer

Qualification Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in maintaining electrical system preferably in a high voltage system.
• Strong engineering analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot, recommend and improve work process capability.
• Knowledge in preparation of tender documents especially on electrical specification, drawings and bill of quantities.
• Computer literate.
• Able to speak and write fluently in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible to plan, implement, maintain and improve the electrical / electronic equipment, instrument and system used in a port.

4. Crane Maintenance Engineer

Qualification Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in maintaining Quay Cranes preferably in Crane Control System (PLC & Drive).
• Strong engineering analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot, recommend and improve work process capability.
• Knowledge in preparation of tender documents especially on mechanical & electrical specification, drawings and bill of quantities.
• Computer literate.
• Able to speak and write fluently in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible to plan, implement, maintain, repair and improve Port Quay Cranes.
