Aptly themed “Nation-building, Touching lives”, the GLC Open Day 2011 is a showcase of five Government-linked Investment Companies (GLICs) and 18 Government-linked Companies (GLCs) which will share how they have contributed towards the development of the Malaysian economy, and in doing so, touched the lives of every Malaysian.
The inaugural event will be held from 24-26 June 2011 at KL Convention Centre. Public admission is FREE. The exhibition is open from 10 am - 8 pm on Friday and Saturday; and 10 am - 6 pm on Sunday.
At the GLC Open Day, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the businesses of GLCs while explore business and job opportunities. There will also be public forums to hear from the experts on issues challenging the operating environment and the macro economy. Ultimately, GLC Open Day aims to forge greater engagement with the public and create better collaborations.
